David S. Goldberg, MD, FAAP has been practicing at Eye Consultants of PA since 1998. He specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus and oculoplastics and lacrimal disease. Dr. Goldberg provides both medical and surgical care. Dr. Goldberg has authored several publications in peer reviewed journals including a comprehensive study of adult diplopia. His articles have also described novel surgical techniques to treat difficult problems in oculoplastics.

Dr. Goldberg completed his Ophthalmic Residency at Louisiana State University and his Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship with the renowned Zane Pollard, MD of Eye Care Associates in Atlanta, Georgia. He has a special interest in Oculoplastic Surgery in both children and adults.

Dr. Goldberg graduated with high honors from Princeton University and served an externship at Wills Eye Hospital. He graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society.

He has medical staff privileges at the Pennsylvania Eye and Ear Surgery Center, Reading Hospital-Tower Health, Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Physicians Care Surgical Hospital, Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health, and Physicians Surgical Center of Lebanon.

Dr. Goldberg is an active member in the following organizations:

  • Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology
