Dr. Michael Malstrom is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, specializing in cataract surgery. Dr. Malstrom joined Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania after completing his residency at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia in July 2008. He grew up in Idaho where he attended Ricks College (a junior college where his father was a professor) and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He finished his Bachelor’s degree Cum Laude in Psychology at Brigham Young University. His medical education was completed at Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Malstrom possesses a broad knowledge of the assessment and treatment of the whole eye but has special interest in helping people see better through cataract surgery. Dr. Malstrom also brings to Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania a wealth of experience in both the medical and interpersonal realms.

Dr. Malstrom is an attending surgeon at the Pennsylvania Eye and Ear Surgery Center, Physicians Care Surgical Center, Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health and Phoenixville Hospital Surgery Center at Limerick. He is on staff at Reading Hospital – Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital – Tower Health and Physicians Care Surgical Hospital.
